Carrageenan (INS 407/407a, CAS 9000-07-1) is a natural hydrophilic hydrocolloid extracted from high-quality red seaweed, including Eucheuma, Chondrus crispus and Gigartina. As a safe, non-toxic food additive with excellent thickening, gelling, emulsifying and water retention properties, it has been widely recognized and approved by China GB, EU, JECFA, FDA, HALAL and KOSHER global food safety standards.
All our carrageenan adopts strictly controlled seaweed raw materials (95% artificially cultivated high-quality eucheuma seaweed) and mature production processes including cleaning, alkali treatment, boiling, salting-out and refining. We supply full-series refined and semi-refined carrageenan with stable batch consistency and complete specifications to meet diversified industrial application demands.
Produced from Eucheuma denticulatum, featuring high gel strength, rigid and crisp thermal-reversible gel. It reacts with potassium ions to form stable gel structure, widely applicable for jelly, gummy candy, pudding, canned meat and konjac snack production. Matched with exclusive konjac gum synergy technology for stronger gel performance and lower formula dosage.
Sourced from Sarcothalia crispata, forming soft, elastic and water-tight gel. It possesses outstanding freeze-thaw stability and low syneresis, perfectly suited for sausage, ham, seafood products and frozen desserts, effectively maintaining tender texture during long-term freezing and storage.
High sulfate content, non-gelling and high viscosity with excellent cold-water solubility. It provides stable suspension and anti-layering effect, specially developed for dairy drinks, yogurt, ice cream and various seasoning sauces to extend product shelf life.
Cost-effective industrial grade with stable basic performance. Ideal for conventional meat processing, konjac vegetarian products and daily chemical applications, delivering high cost performance for mass production.
